PRODUCT PROFILE
P.Y.14Pigment Yellow 14 — grade profile
Pigment Yellow 14 (P.Y.14) is a diarylide disazo pigment for Plastics & masterbatch, Printing inks and Textiles & fibers. Compare shade, tinting strength, dispersion and processing stability in the customer’s actual resin or binder rather than relying on one universal value.
Published screening data includes published heat reference 180 °C, light fastness 6/8 and oil absorption 35–45 ml/100g. Application-specific heat and fastness entries in the technical table take precedence.
Primary listed fits include PVC, Offset inks, Water-based inks, PP inks, NC inks and Pigment textile printing; Polyolefins (PO) and PA inks are listed for evaluation.
At equal loading, compare shade, tinting strength, dispersion and resin or binder compatibility, then confirm the required fastness under the final process conditions.
