PRODUCT PROFILE
P.Y.12Pigment Yellow 12 — grade profile
Pigment Yellow 12 (P.Y.12) is a diarylide disazo pigment for Plastics & masterbatch, Printing inks and Textiles & fibers. Compare shade, tinting strength, dispersion and processing stability in the customer’s actual resin or binder rather than relying on one universal value.
Published screening data includes published heat reference 200 °C, light fastness 6/8 and oil absorption 40–50 ml/100g. Application-specific heat and fastness entries in the technical table take precedence.
Primary listed fits include PVC, Water-based inks, PA inks, NC inks and Pigment textile printing; Polyolefins (PO), Offset inks and PP inks are listed for evaluation.
At equal loading, compare shade, tinting strength, dispersion and resin or binder compatibility, then confirm the required fastness under the final process conditions.
