PRODUCT PROFILE
P.R.49:1Pigment Red 49:1 — grade profile
Pigment Red 49:1 (P.R.49:1) is a monoazo barium-lake pigment for Printing inks. Compare shade, tinting strength, dispersion and processing stability in the customer’s actual resin or binder rather than relying on one universal value.
Published screening data includes published heat reference 160 °C, light fastness 5/8 and oil absorption 40–50 ml/100g. Application-specific heat and fastness entries in the technical table take precedence.
Primary listed fits include Offset inks and Water-based inks.
At equal loading, compare shade, tinting strength, dispersion and resin or binder compatibility, then confirm the required fastness under the final process conditions.
