PRODUCT PROFILE
P.R.48:1Pigment Red 48:1 — grade profile
Pigment Red 48:1 (P.R.48:1) is a monoazo barium-lake pigment for Plastics & masterbatch and Printing inks. Compare shade, tinting strength, dispersion and processing stability in the customer’s actual resin or binder rather than relying on one universal value.
Published screening data includes published heat reference 240 °C, light fastness 6/8 and oil absorption 35–45 ml/100g. Application-specific heat and fastness entries in the technical table take precedence.
Primary listed fits include Polyolefins (PO) and Water-based inks; PVC, Polystyrene (PS), ABS and PP fiber are listed for evaluation.
At equal loading, compare shade, tinting strength, dispersion and resin or binder compatibility, then confirm the required fastness under the final process conditions.
